Gilgit Baltistan Announces Scholarship Opportunities for Students Studying at Govt Institutions

The Education Department of the Government of Gilgit Baltistan has recently announced that scholarships will be made available for students enrolled in government academic institutions with a Gilgit-Baltistan domicile as part of the Gilgit-Baltistan Education Endowment Fund phase II.

This opportunity is open to intermediate, undergraduate, and medical/engineering students studying in other professional universities in Pakistan. To be eligible, students must have completed their Matric, FA/FSC, or most recent board college/university annual test by 2022, with a minimum score of 60% being accepted. The deadline for submitting applications is January 23rd.

Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, the chief secretary of Gilgit-Baltistan, recently spoke to the media about the efforts being made to reform the education system in the region.
